Scraped surface heat exchange unit.

The machine was conceived, designed and built for the heat exchange of particularly complex and/or delicate products due to their structure, viscosity or tendency to burn or freeze.

Operation:

The scraper shaft keeps the product moving and prevents it from sticking to the wall.

The scraping blades are pressed against the exchange surface thanks to the rotation of the shaft and the fluid dynamic pressure of the product itself.

The scraped surface heat exchanger will therefore allow the product to be heated, pasteurized, cooled or frozen without damaging it.

Thermal range: -10 / +150° C
Heating by steam or hot water
Cooling using mains water, glycol water, freezing water or ammonia.
